All Abilities Programs

Sandybeach runs a range of programs specifically designed for adults with an intellectual disability.

 

These programs:

 

  • Provide opportunities for participants to be active community members

  • Provide skills to assist with daily living and independence

  • Support participants who have an employment or volunteer related goal

  • Most importantly, provide opportunities for fun and friendship.

The "Kitchen Club – Let's Do Lunch!" invitation-only event and is exclusively for the Carers, Friends, and Family of Sandybeach Kitchen Club students from Term 4.

Before booking, please ensure you select the correct date and time based on when your Kitchen Club student participates: Tuesday 11:30 am on 22nd October 2024, or Wednesday 11:30 am or 2:30 pm on 23rd October 2024.

REACH

REACH activities offer support and interest based, stimulating activities for seniors and people with age related conditions. Transport may be available. Concessions apply for clients referred via My Aged Care.

STEP

STEP programs are designed for people with an intellectual disability. We offer friendly classes with low numbers aimed at giving participants a safe place to explore their interests and expand their potential.
