Art in Action | Art Class for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

Art in Action is a welcoming and inclusive art program for adults with intellectual disabilities. It’s all about self-expression, creativity and building confidence through hands-on art activities in a safe, supportive space.
 
Whether you love to paint, draw or experiment with different materials, this class offers the chance to explore a range of techniques with guidance from our experienced, friendly tutors. All materials are provided.
 
2026 Term Dates & Costs:
Term 1 | Wednesday, 21 Jan to 1 April | $475
Term 1 | Thursday, 12 Feb to 2 April | $375
 
Term 2 | Wednesday, 22 April to 24 June | $433 (10 weeks)
Term 2 | Thursday, 23 April to 25 June | $433 (10 weeks)
 
Term 3 | Wednesday, 15 July to 16 September | $433 (10 weeks)
Term 3 | Thursday, 16 July to 17 September | $433 (10 weeks)

You're welcome to join at any time during the term and we’re happy to offer free trial classes, just ask! Our venue is wheelchair accessible. There will be no classes on Victorian public holidays.

ENROLMENTS

  • Enrolments are taken on a term-by-term basis.

  • There will be no classes on Victorian public holidays.

  • Term enrolments are non-refundable.

  • We are unable to offer make up classes, transfers or refunds for missed classes.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO CONSENT

By attending our programs or events, you consent to photographs and/or videos being taken and used by Sandybeach Centre for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials.

 

SMS AND EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By registering for a program or event, you consent to receiving SMS and email communications from Sandybeach Centre relating to your booking and other relevant programs, events and updates.
