Skills Development Modules

Whether you are here as staff or a volunteer, you’re an important part of the Sandybeach team. Working in the community can be rewarding, and sometimes a little unpredictable, so this training will give you the tools, tips and confidence to feel safe and supported in your role.

Regardless where we are at in our lives there are always opportunities to learn. Sandybeach Centre is always striving to help our team continue to learn and improve. These modules are short, simple and designed to help you in your role.

There are eight modules in total, each with a short learner plan. Most will take just 15–20 minutes and you can complete them at your own pace.

Some modules may be more relevant to you than others, however, I’d encourage you to cover all of it.

This course has been created because our sector
keeps changing - whether it’s policies, client needs
or best practices. At the end of the day, this training
is here to make your role easier, safer and more enjoyable.
