DESCRIPTION
Our Movement and Music class is a gentle, slow paced dance therapy program designed to support people living with age related health challenges including memory support needs and mobility limitations. Activities are thoughtfully adapted so everyone can participate at their own pace. Guided by an experienced dance therapist, simple rhythm and movement are used to encourage expression, connection and confidence. ✔ Carers and support workers attend free ✔ Gentle therapeutic dance movements ✔ Free trial with no obligation ✔ Door to door bus service may be available* ✔ Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended. ✔ Start at any time during the term (call for a revised fee) FURTHER INFORMATION ✔ Concession pricing is available for eligible My Aged Care clients and DVA Gold Card holders. ✔ Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible bathroom facilities available. ✔ Transport may also be available for seniors attending Social Support Programs who live locally (subject to availability and eligibility). By registering for a Sandybeach Centre program or event, you agree to the following: • Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. • This class requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If minimum enrolments are not met, the class may be cancelled and a full refund or credit will be offered. • If you are unable to attend, you agree to notify Sandybeach Centre by phone or email as soon as possible. A non-attendance fee may apply if you do not notify us, to help cover catering, entertainment and event costs. • You consent to photographs and videos taken during programs or events being used by Sandybeach Centre for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials. • You agree to receive SMS and email communications relating to your booking and relevant Sandybeach Centre programs, events and updates.
