Carers' Winter Walk and Lunch

Take some time out for yourself and enjoy a relaxing winter outing with fellow carers. Join us for a gentle walk along the beautiful Ricketts Point foreshore, followed by a cosy lunch at Ricketts Point Café.
 
Enjoy up to an hour of easy walking in the fresh sea air before settling in for a delicious meal and friendly conversation. This special outing offers carers the opportunity to recharge, connect with others who understand the caring role and enjoy some well-deserved time for themselves.
Whether you're looking to boost your wellbeing, meet new people or simply spend a peaceful winter's day by the bay, we'd love you to join us.
 
Walkers
Please arrive by 11.30am. We will meet outside the main entrance of Ricketts Point Café. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
 
Lunch Only
If you are joining us for lunch only, please arrive at 12.30pm. We will be seated inside the café at our allocated tables. Simply ask for the Sandybeach Carers group.
 
Parking
Paid parking is available in the car parks around Ricketts Point. Free parking can be found along Beach Road and in nearby side streets.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations by Sandybeach Centre 
Classes require minimum enrolments to proceed. If Sandybeach Centre cancels a class, program or event, participants will receive a full refund or credit. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Participant Cancellations 
Unless otherwise stated, cancellations and transfer requests must be received at least 7 days before the start date. A $40 administration fee may apply. No refunds or transfers are available within 7 days or after a program has commenced. Materials already purchased may be excluded from the refund.

Events 
Refund requests must be received at least 7 days before the event. If you are unable to attend, please notify Sandybeach Centre as soon as possible. A non-attendance fee may apply where costs such as catering or entertainment have already been incurred. ​​

ACFE Subsidised Places 

Withdrawal must be made in writing within 4 weeks of commencement. 

• No training undertaken: refund less $20 administration fee 

• Part training completed: pro-rata refund less $20 administration fee 

• Accredited courses: $50 administration fee 

• After 4 weeks: no refund

General By booking, you agree to receive communications relating to your booking and relevant Sandybeach Centre programs and events. Photography or video taken during programs and events may be used for Sandybeach Centre promotional purposes. There are no classes on Victorian public holidays.

 

Humanitix Refunds: Participants can request a refund through their Humanitix account up to 7 days before the class, program or event start date. Refunds are not available within 7 days of the start date.
