Volunteer Opportunity: Bus Assistant

We’re looking for volunteers to help with our bus runs and make a real difference in the community!

Role: Bus Assistant (Jockey)

Commitment: Approx. 2 hours per week, with shifts on:

• Fridays: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

• Mondays: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

• Thursdays: 9:30 am – 11:00 am

Your role will include:

• Escorting clients to and from Sandybeach Centre and their homes.

• Ensuring the safety of passengers, including seat belt checks and assisting with walking aids and personal items.

What we're looking for:

• Punctuality & reliability

• A kind and non-patronising manner

• Sensitivity to the needs of the elderly

• A general level of fitness

ENROLMENTS

Enrolments are taken on a term-by-term basis.
There will be no classes on Victorian public holidays.
Term enrolments are non-refundable.
We are unable to offer make up classes, transfers or refunds for missed classes.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO CONSENT

By attending our programs or events, you consent to photographs and/or videos being taken and used by Sandybeach Centre for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials.

SMS AND EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By registering for a program or event, you consent to receiving SMS and email communications from Sandybeach Centre relating to your booking and other relevant programs, events and updates.
