This course is ideal if you are exploring storytelling and/or life writing, in any genre. You may be writing memoir or family history works of non-fiction or essays, or a long-form work. You may be writing poetry which draws heavily on your own life or family history, or creative non-fiction or auto-fiction. The class is geared towards the interest of individual group members.
 
The class structure includes: an introduction to content and materials, discussion and analysing texts and writing techniques; writing activities and writing prompts in class, as well as writing prompts to take away; sharing of opportunities/where to find publication opportunities and competitions and awards; and discussion of relevant current literary/artistic news.
