BIO OF TUTOR HEIDI WALFENDEN
Heidi Wolfenden - Creative Coach Visual Artist, Designer and Branding Expert
Heidi Wolfenden has always had a passion for creativity and innovation. After completing a Visual Communication degree at RMIT, she spent 10 years working as an Art Director in Advertising, developing campaigns for iconic and well-respected global brands, such as Ford, Kraft, Herald Sun and Australian Red Cross. She has also worked as a Communication Design Lecturer at Swinburne University and enjoyed sharing her extensive knowledge andexpertise in subject areas such as branding and identity, packaging design and advertising. In recent years, Heidi returned to her love of art, ceramics and photography and exhibited herartworks in numerous exhibitions.
For the past two years Heidi has been running a range of exciting visual art programs at Sandybeach Community Centre, as well as continuing to work as a practising artist, in her home studio.
Heidi’s recently collaborated with Sandybeach management to develop a course called ‘Make it! Market it! This innovative new program provides creatives, artists and makers with the unique opportunity to receive individualised, expert advice from Heidi on branding, marketing and promotion to help students develop the confidence to sell their own creationsat a market stall.
