DESCRIPTION
Above and Below the Sea is a friendly, inspiring and fun 8-week art course that encourages students to slow down and reconnect with the natural world. Each week focuses on a different aspect of the ocean, such as wave patterns, shorelines, coral forms, and marine life. Each week blends technique with imagination, encouraging expressive mark-making bold colour choices, and mindful observation. Students will experiment with a variety of art materials, including acrylic paint, soft pastels, oil pastels, pencil and watercolour. This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate students. *Art materials and morning tea are provided.

By registering for a Sandybeach Centre program or event, you agree to the following: • Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. • This class requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If minimum enrolments are not met, the class may be cancelled and a full refund or credit will be offered. • If you are unable to attend, you agree to notify Sandybeach Centre by phone or email as soon as possible. A non-attendance fee may apply if you do not notify us, to help cover catering, entertainment and event costs. • You consent to photographs and videos taken during programs or events being used by Sandybeach Centre for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials. • You agree to receive SMS and email communications relating to your booking and relevant Sandybeach Centre programs, events and updates.
