Visit from Jennifer Huppert MP

Jennifer Huppert MP, State Member for Southern Metropolitan Region, visited Sandybeach Centre in April to launch the Changing Face of Community Business – 2009 report. She noted in her speech to Parliament that she was “impressed by the dedication of the staff and volunteers”. Well, so are we!

Singing Water

The beautifully illustrated 2010 Life Stories book, Singing Water, is now available from Sandybeach Centre reception for $10.00 a copy.

The illustrations were created by members of the Sandybeach Artbeat classes, and the stories themselves range through childhood games, school days, dance hall days, war experiences, working life, family life, expatriate years, immigration, festivities and more.  A perfect gift!

Find out more about the Life Stories and Artbeat classes here.
