What a buzz it was at Sandybeach last Wednesday evening with our very own Glee Club!
Responding to community interest, this brand new program will begin in term 3.
Glee Club is going to be a fun, social singing group for people of all ages and abilities in a relaxed environment.
We kicked things off with a free trial session so that those who are interested could come along and have a look see!
The room was full of energy with our experienced tutor, Sarah Sabell who had everyone singing and a little dancing to David Bowie & Mick Jagger’s, ”Dancing in the Street”.
Sarah started her creative career with a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts - Drama at Deakin University.
Previous to that, Sarah completed a full time dance course with the Tony Bartuccio school of Dance in Prahran.
During 2009 - 2011 she undertook a professional acting course with Verve Studios Melbourne and in 2010, wrote and produced an original play 'Shunyata'.
Sarah is now putting the finishing touches on her second script 'She Said, She Said', that will be produced at the Meat Market in North Melbourne this November. Sarah has also just completed her Master's in Adult and Vocational Education - which is another passion of hers!
We are looking forward to the program commencing on Wednesday 18th July and will be held weekly from 7-8pm.
Spots are still available, so if you’d like to come along and join in the fun, please call us on 9598 2155 to enquire or book in.
