Glee Club makes an entrance!

What a buzz it was at Sandybeach last Wednesday evening with our very own Glee Club! Responding to community interest, this brand new program will begin in term 3. Glee Club is going to be a fun, social singing group for people of all ages and abilities in a relaxed environment. We kicked things off with a free trial session so that those who are interested could come along and have a look see! The room was full of energy with our experienced tutor, Sarah Sabell who had everyone singing and a little dancing to David Bowie & Mick Jagger’s, ”Dancing in the Street”. Metro's involvement travels a long way!

Sandybeach Centre would like to thank the Community Education Department at Metro, in particular Damien and Adam for providing our STEP students with travel training earlier this term and inviting our class to have lunch last week with representatives from Metro at Transport House in the city. Thank you for enriching the experience of our students, we all had a great time!
