Dorothy (right) says: "I really enjoy doing Tai Chi as I feel I can cope with the slow movements and I can do it either in the lounge or outdoors, and as many times a day as I feel like. I am sure I am benefitting from the exercise."
Joy (left) says: "When I turned seventy-nine this year, I decided it was time to embark on a new experience before it was too late! So, I enrolled in a Tuesday morning Tai Chi class which caused a few raised eyebrows among some family members and friends. I am inclined to be a bit clumsy due to a hip injury and slight arthritis – not an ideal subject! The two tutors, Angel and Elana, were most patient, kind and encouraging. I have gained so much: noticeable improvement in balance, co-ordination and concentration, and new friends of both sexes. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tai Chi for any adventurous older person. " |
