Music Respite for Carers
The Music Respite program provides support on a weekly basis for families in which a member is experiencing cognitive deterioration. The object of the program is:
• To provide breaks for family members to recharge their batteries
• To increase community participation and maintain cognitive functioning
• To break down social isolation for both family and participants.
Each week we have an interactive and innovative music program. Participants contribute with their musical interests or just enjoy the atmosphere. Includes a light refreshment.
