Copy Content for Professional Writing
Writing content for social media, hard copy, the web and a variety of audiences is an art. This course will assist small businesses, sole traders and content writers to develop skills supporting your professional writing – structure, key language and writing for a target audience. The tutor is studying towards a Masters in Writing and Literature and has much experience in the field.

If you are a small business owner, thinking about starting your own business or working for a company that uses the MYOB bookkeeping program, then this program is for you. A detailed insight into MYOB, learning day to day functions including BAS and payroll.

Community Access and Volunteering
Learn about volunteer roles, responsibilities and opportunities. Ideal for those who wish to expand their skills. The program explores volunteering opportunities in the community. The STEP volunteering group has a partnership with the Bayside Council where they maintain a garden area. They attend Bayside Council once every weeks to maintain and work in partnership with others in council.

Develop everyday life skills including reading, writing, spelling and computer skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Students will learn a range of simple office skills and help put together the bi-annual STEP Newsletter.

Café 82 – A pathway to employment in the Hospitality Industry
An advanced catering and barista training program held in a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Learn food handling guidelines in preparing food and coffee making. Students who wish to enrol in this program will need to attend an interview process. This course is designed for people with a disability and fees are determined on the level of support required.

This course will teach students basic computer skills from turning on a computer, using a mouse, editing Word documents, internet use and printing from a digital camera. This course is designed for people with a disability and fees are determined on the level of support required.
