Exercise with Handweights (Angel Parker)
Join one of the fastest growing methods of helping to improve the health and well-being of people of all ages. Strengthen and tone your muscles. Circuit Saturday (Angel Parker)
This is a cardio-vascular class which involves resistance training and floor work e.g. push ups and running. Equipment used includes a mini trampoline, body bars and handweights, medicine ball and fit ball. Come along and improve your fitness. Note: Classes are held during school holidays.
Health Walking (Angel Parker)
Enjoy energetic walks along the coastal tracks as part of a group and get fit at the same time. Participate in a one hour invigorating walk followed by a half hour light exercise and stretch indoors. Wear good walking shoes and comfortable clothing. BYO mat and water bottle. Note: Classes are not held during school holidays.
ChiBallTM (Rebecca Quin)
This class is based on the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine. ChiBallTM is a unique holistic approach to health and well-being through exercise. It aims to rejuvenate and refresh the inner body so that the outer body can reflect radiant and harmonious health. Each week this class consists of combinations of the following using the ChiBallTM: Tai Chi/ChiKung, ChiballTM dance, Yoga, Pilates, Feldenkrais and Relaxation/Meditation.
ChiBallTM method teaches us to feel the balance between Yin and Yang. This class is about moving and having fun! Healthy body, healthy mind. Note: Classes are not held during school holidays.
Pilates (Rebecca Quin)
This class uses the exercise principles of Joseph Pilates to improve your core strength, flexibility, mobility and body awareness. Pilates strengthens muscles without shortening them, it can lengthen and align your spine and, with regular practice, can boost your metabolism leaving you feeling long, lean and elegant. Note: Classes are not held during school holidays.
Yoga (Pauline Brady)
Everyone can practise yoga. Hatha Yoga promotes health, vitality and a general sense of well-being. Particular attention is placed on relaxation, correct breathing, balancing, non-stress postures, plus stretching and toning of muscles and joints. BYO rubber mat and blanket. Wear loose comfortable clothing, tracksuit or leotard. Note: All classes held at Uniting Church Memorial Hall, Sandringham Road (Melway 76 G9) Classes are not held during school holidays.
Generation Fitness (Therese de Leeuw)
This gentle exercise class aims to increase energy levels, reduce stress and improve fitness, flexibility and strength. The benefits of exercise include improved circulation and lower blood pressure, improved levels of recovery from illness, and new social contacts and friendships. Your road to fun and fitness starts now!

Bowls for Beginners
Lawn bowls is a game for all ages. If you enjoy exercise in the fresh air with friendly people, then this is for you. Learn from qualified coaches, with plenty of opportunities for practice on grass and on our newly installed synthetic green. Bowls will be provided. Play in casual clothes and flat-soled shoes. The cost of the course will be offset against initial subscription for those who later decide to join the club.
