Social Support and Activities for People Over 60
The REACH Department at Sandybeach Centre provides a variety of activities and support for older people. There is something for everyone including active seniors and people with age-related conditions. Our trained staff provide support and assistance to all who attend our interest-based programs. Transport may be available for those who require it,in either a mini bus or car.
REACH activities are designed for people aged over 60 years who are living in their own homes. Our programs have proved to be very popular so waiting lists may apply. There is a cost for each activity payable quarterly.
To join any groups or activities,it is necessary to speak to the REACH Department Co-ordinator on 9598 2155 or email us.
Aged Care Qualification
Anyone wanting to work in the aged care field,may be interested in gaining the nationally recognised qualifications Certificate III in Aged Care and Cert III Home and Community Care. This dual qualification is available at Sandybeach Centre. Please click the link below for more information.
