All classes (unless stipulated otherwise under individual course details) will be held at Sandybeach Centre, Cnr. Beach Road and Sims Street, Sandringham.
Hours
Reception hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Some extended hours apply. Phone Sandybeach Centre for information on extended hours. For class times see individual classes.
Sandybeach Centre Term Dates
Term 1: Wednesday 27 January – Friday 26 March 2010
Term 2: Monday 12 April – Friday 25 June 2010
Hours – Occasional childcare
Quality childcare, registered with the Department of Human Services, is run by our qualified and experienced childcare workers. Hours of operation are 9:00am-12 noon Monday and Thursday and 8:30am-12:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Parking and transport
- Sandringham Station is a few minutes walk away.
- Local bus stops a few minutes walk away.
- Foreshore carpark directly opposite the Centre. Ticket machines apply or Bayside Residents Parking Authority Ticket. Parking available on both sides of Beach Road.
- In Sims Street: above No. 24 Sims St on both sides of the road, and directly in front of the Sandybeach building – access from Beach Road.
- A free public carpark below the adjacent apartment block on the corner of Beach & Bay Rds. Enter via Bay Rd. roundabout.
Public holidays
See course details for individual commencement dates. Adult classes, with the exception of those stated, are not normally scheduled to run during School Holidays. Sandybeach Centre will be closed on: Monday 8 March – Labour Day, Friday 2 April – Good Friday, Monday 5 April- Easter Monday, Monday 26 April – Anzac Day, Monday 14 June – Queen’s Birthday.
